QiYi 8×8 Magnetic + Ball Core is a compact magnetic 8×8 designed around speed and stability for a high-layer-count cube. At only 64.5 mm per side it is unusually small for an 8×8, making it easier to grip and less tiring during long solves.

Magnets are used both between the moving pieces and in relation to the magnetic core. This helps keep the many narrow layers aligned and gives the puzzle a more controlled feel at higher turning speeds.
